From Frustration Comes a Solution...

Tired of damaging frags at various events, BMC Acrylics's President and avid marine hobbyist Ken Lane put his background in manufacturing processes to good use. He designed a self-contained frag transportation system to replace the countless number of plastic bags and tubs normally used during the year.

As the Coral Frag Caddy started to take shape, friends and fellow marine hobbyist commented on the ease of use and additional protection offered by the frag system. A couple months later, the Coral Frag Caddy and Coral Frag Tank were born. Each product is designed to work together and accommodate a certain number of Coral Frag Caddy trays.

As the availability of coral frags grow, so does the need to properly duplicate the reef ecosystem. BMC Acrylics has developed a Coral Wave Tank which closely imitates the natural wave action that occurs in the wild.
